What to expect?
In this experience, you’ll greet the sunrise aboard a small vessel as we sail the warm waters off Peru’s northern coast—one of the world’s few places to witness the majestic humpback whale’s annual migration. These gentle giants travel here to breed and give birth, and their acrobatic displays—breaches, tail slaps, and fin waves—are a sight to behold.
As we cruise the Pacific, we’ll also keep our eyes out for playful dolphins, curious sea lions, gliding sea turtles, and even other species of whales. Guided by a professional crew, this early morning excursion offers an intimate and respectful connection with marine wildlife in its natural habitat.
After the boat ride, we’ll visit a local marine museum—founded by marine biologists whose ongoing research sheds light on the life beneath the waves. Over a warm drink, take a moment to reflect on the fragile beauty of the sea and the importance of preserving it for generations to come.

- Sailing time: 2–2.5 hours (approx.)
- Visit to Marine Museum: 45 minutes
Our early departure allows us to catch marine life at its most active. With a 98% chance of spotting humpback whales, this is one of the most rewarding wildlife experiences in Peru. If for any reason we don’t see a humpback, we’ll invite you to join another tour with us—free of charge.
Each of our three boats carries a maximum of 24 passengers, ensuring a safe, guided, and immersive wildlife experience.
