Your guide will meet you in the morning for a visit to a traditional local market, where you’ll sample and learn about native Peruvian ingredients essential to our diverse gastronomy.
From there, we head to Lima’s historic center for a guided walk among colonial facades and monuments. Enjoy a tasting of Peruvian cacao and a pisco cocktail, while hearing the stories that have shaped the heart of the capital.
Back in Miraflores, a local chef welcomes you into the kitchen for a hands-on ceviche-making class—a fresh and vibrant introduction to Peru’s national dish. After a light 3-course lunch, we drive to Barranco, the bohemian seaside neighborhood known for its art, color, and charm.
