Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Lima: Welcome to Peru!

Upon arrival at Jorge Chávez International Lima Airport (154 m|505 ft), we will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Miraflores. You’ll have free time to relax and begin acclimatizing at your own pace.

Day 2: Lima City (B)

We begin the day with a meeting at the hotel to review the travel itinerary and hand over your travel documents.Lima, with over 4,000 years of history, was once the richest and most important city in South America under Spanish rule. Today, it is not only the continent’s oldest capital but also one of its most culturally diverse and gastronomically rich cities.
Enjoy a free day to explore the neighborhood, walk along the Pacific coast boardwalk, or relax in the nearby parks.

Enjoy the capital’s renowned food scene or visit museums and colonial landmarks. Advance reservations are recommended for top restaurants.

Day 3: Huacas of Lima & Larco Museum by Night (B/D)

Today you will visit three pre-Inca pyramids in the city: Huaca Pucllana (Miraflores), Huaca Huallamarca (San Isidro), and Huaca Mateo Salado (Pueblo Libre). You’ll end with a broad perspective on Lima’s fascinating evolution through pre-Hispanic, colonial, and modern eras. End the evening with a guided visit to the renowned Larco Museum and a 3-course dinner in its elegant restaurant.

Day 4: Private Transfer to Paracas (B)

Travel comfortably across the coastal desert by private vehicle from Lima to Paracas (approx. 3 hours).
Stop for lunch en route at a recommended local restaurant.

Day 5: Nazca Lines Flight & Paracas National Reserve (B))

Transfer to Pisco Airport for a flight over the Nazca Lines—mysterious geoglyphs covering 350 km². Afterward, explore the Paracas National Reserve, home to dramatic desert-meets-ocean landscapes and rich birdlife. Highlights include: Playa Roja and Lagunillas.

Day 6: Ballestas Islands & Ica Tour (B)

In the morning, cruise to the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions, penguins, and thousands of birds. Later, explore Ica: visit a traditional pisco distillery, tour the stunning Huacachina Oasis, and walk among towering sand dunes.

You will stay at Hotel Viñas Queirolo, an elegant Republican-style resort located in the heart of the Ica Valley, Peru, surrounded by more than 500 hectares of vineyards belonging to the renowned Santiago Queirolo Winery.

The hotel offers a unique wine tourism experience: guided vineyard tours, wine and pisco tastings led by a sommelier, and access to a scenic viewpoint to enjoy sunsets with a glass of Intipalka.

Day 7: From Paracas to Lima (B)

Return to Lima by private transport (approx. 4 hours).

Day 8: Free Day in Artsy Barranco (B)

Explore Barranco, Lima’s bohemian district. Visit art galleries, walk through mural-filled streets, and dine at top restaurants like Isolina or Canta Rana. In the evening, enjoy sunset views from the malecón and explore Barranco’s vibrant nightlife.

You will enjoy Hotel B Barranco: is a beautifully restored Belle Époque mansion built in 1914 as a seaside retreat for Lima’s elite. Designed by French architect Claude Sahut and commissioned by the García Bedoya family, it boasts a striking white stucco façade with ornate columns, iron‑grill doors, high ceilings and elegant balconies.

Today it operates as Lima’s only Relais & Châteaux boutique hotel.

Day 9: Arequipa, the White City (B)

Fly to Arequipa (2,328m |7,638ft), a city of colonial origin with a strong identity and an interesting and well preserved architectural heritage. Their main houses are located in the historic area, within walking distance. Many of its houses are built with “sillar”, a white volcanic stone, which is why it is known as the “White City”. The area is surrounded by volcanoes and, one of them, the Misti (“lord” in Quechua) overlooks the city. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. 

In the Afternoon , you will discover the Museo Santuarios Andinos, which hosts the rest of Juanita mummy. It ranks among archaeology’s most significant 20th-century finds. The Museum displays an introduction to Andean cosmology and sacred rituals, Ceremonial offerings: polychrome ceramics, metals, shells, textiles, Textile gallery: original Inca garments, Discovery: multimedia reconstruction of Juanita’s discovery on Ampato. Mummies hall & audiovisual room: the central exhibit is Juanita, alongside archaeological context and a short film.

Day 10: Colonial and Historical Arequipa (B)

Explore Arequipa’s scenic viewpoints (Carmen Alto and Yanahuara), its colonial center, and historic landmarks like the Jesuit Church and Santa Catalina Monastery—a city within a city.

Day 11: Colca Canyon (B)

Today you embark on a two-day journey to the spectacular Colca Canyon, one of the deepest in the world.This landscape was shaped over centuries as a balanced relationship between culture and nature, best expressed by the agricultural terraces that enabled human development in this valley of great wealth during Inca and pre-Inca times.

Also, home to condors, endless trekking routes, colorful agricultural terraces  and Inca and pre-Inca traditions preserved to this day.

En route, you’ll pass through the Aguada Blanca National Reserve to see wild vicuñas and take in views of volcanoes like Misti and Chachani. Cross the high-altitude pass of Patapampa (4,850 m|15,912 ft) before descending to Chivay, (3,700 m|12,139 ft) where you’ll see the colorful pre-Inca terraces of the valley. From there you’ll go to the small town of Coporaque. Free time for acclimatisation.

You will stay at a luxury retreat nestled in the heart of Peru’s Colca Valley, roughly 160 km|99.4 mi north of Arequipa, near the village of Yanque The property spans around 24 hectares and features 20 charming individual casitas (cottages).

Day 12: Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint (B)

Today, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with vast landscapes on your journey to the Colca Canyon. Prepare to feast your eyes on the immensity of the scenery and witness the flight of the condor in its natural habitat. You’ll traverse charming small villages where Andean heritage and colonial architecture intertwine, creating a vibrant and colorful cultural landscape.Return via picturesque towns like Maca or Yanque,

Day 13: Arequipa Walking Tour & Luxury Andean Explorer Train (B/D)

In the morning, visit the bustling San Camilo market with your guide, followed by lunch at a traditional picantería. In the evening, board the luxurious Andean Explorer Train for a 3-day journey to Cusco.

Day 14: Andean Explorer Train – Lake Titicaca (B/L/D)

The Belmond Andean Explorer Train, being one of the first luxury trains in South America, offers a one or two night travel version. Cusco, Lake Titicaca, La Raya and Arequipa are the destinations of this wonderful luxury train trip through Peru, in which we will cross the high plains of the Andes, admiring its fascinating landscapes and enjoying the tranquility of the waters of Lake Titicaca.

Enjoy the sunrise over Lake Titicaca. Visit the floating Uros Islands and cruise across the lake. Return to the train for cocktails, dinner, and overnight at the Saracocha lagoon.

Day 15: Andean Crossing on a Luxury Train : From Titicaca to Cusco (B/L/D)

Enjoy a gourmet breakfast and brunch while traveling through the Andes to Cusco. Arrive at Wanchaq Station in the afternoon.you will arrive in Cusco (3,400 m|11,155 ft), the former capital of the Inca Empire. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a warm welcome. Private transfer to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 16: Eternal Cusco City & Inca Sites (B)

Known as Qosqo, the “navel of the world,” this sacred city was once filled with temples and palaces. Its layout reflected the Andean worldview and Inca organizational principles, such as duality (Hanan and Hurin). The original neighborhoods—structured according to the political and spiritual hierarchy of the Inca elite (panacas)—were later built over by colonial mansions, churches, and public squares. In Inca times, access to the city was strictly controlled.

You will visit the archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, and Q’enko. After lunch, enjoy a walking city tour, visiting Qoricancha, the 12-Angle Stone, the Cathedral, and San Pedro Market.

Day 17: Sacred Valley Tour (B)

Explore Chinchero’s textile traditions, the agricultural terraces of Moray, and the salt mines of Maras. Visit Ollantaytambo’s impressive fortress and charming Inca-era village.

Day 18: Hiram Bingham Luxury Train to Machu Picchu (B/L/D)

Journeying from historic Cusco through the Sacred Valley and up to the entrance of Machu Picchu, the Hiram Bingham is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure with breathtaking, open-air views. Take a seat and feast upon exquisite Peruvian cuisine, then venture to our vintage cocktail bar for a punchy Pisco sour. At the citadel, be awed by the majestic ruins with a professional guide before heading to Sanctuary Lodge, A Belmond Hotel, for a refreshing cocktail in the mountains. But reserve enough energy for your return journey aboard, where a vibrant party with live music and a carousing spirit pulsates through the carriages.

Day 19: Flight to Iquitos: Meet the Amazon Jungle

Private transfer to the airport for your flight to Iquitos via Lima.

Iquitos is the largest city in the Peruvian Amazon and the world’s largest city unreachable by road—accessible only by air or river. Located along the Amazon and Nanay Rivers, it serves as a vibrant gateway to jungle adventures, river cruises, and rainforest lodges. Iquitos’ rise to prominence was built on caucho—an era of immense wealth, rapid modernization.  Iquitos became a prosperous boomtown. European and Peruvian rubber barons amassed fortunes The city saw the construction of opulent mansions, foreign consulates, and imported luxuries—like the Casa de Fierro (Iron House), designed by Gustave Eiffel. However, this wealth came at a tragic cost. Indigenous communities were enslaved, abused, and often exterminated by rubber companies to extract caucho under brutal conditions. 

Museums like the Museo Amazónico and Barbieri Library house artifacts and archives from the rubber era, and some guided tours address the period’s complex history.

Day 20-22: Amazon River Cruise (B/L/D)

Board your luxury cruise in Iquitos for a 3-night journey exploring the Marañón, Yanayacu-Pucate, and Yarapa rivers. Discover the rich biodiversity of the Peruvian Amazon with expert naturalist guides.

Day 23: Return to Lima

Disembark and fly from Iquitos to Lima.Connection with International Flight.
